2012 Recap

As has been tradition, here is a Year In Review of 2012!

2012:
January
-Andy and I celebrate 5 years of marriage
-Backpacking trip to Joshua Tree National Park



February
-Craig comes to visit for my 27th birthday

March
-Backpacking at Death Valley National Park

-We adopt our kitty Chorizo
-Our niece Hannah turned 2 and our nephew Malacai turned 4

April
-Chris and Lauren get engaged here in Santa Barbara and we celebrate Easter together



-Threw a Gender Reveal party in Santa Barbara for our good friends
(it's a girl - born Oct. 4th - they named her Lillian)

May
-"Backpacking" at Yosemite National Park (we got snowed/stormed out)














-I complete year one at Westmont (4 years of RDing)
-Our nephew Levi turned 2

June
-Abram Alexander is born (our 4th nephew)
-Lyndsay travels to a conference in Indiana which includes a visit to an Amish Farm for dinner, time in Beaver Falls to visit friends there, meeting Abram, and being home for Linc's 6th birthday :)
 (Had the privilege to go to Kindergarten with him!  This is the birthday tunnel)
-Backpacking in the John Muir Wilderness




-Our friend Becky visits
 

July
-Chris & Lauren get married at Grimm Farms
-We say goodbye to Chorizo, who didn't like Res Hall living

August
-Andy's parents visit
-Clara Louise is born (our 3rd niece)
-We plant a small garden on campus to enjoy homegrown goodness

-I go on Westmont's RA Wilderness trip for the second time (rainy this time!)

September
-The Michau Family visits

(Fabienne LOVED the ocean and the beach)



-Backpacking in the Golden Trout Wilderness for Andy's 29th Birthday


October
-Trip to Yuma, AZ to visit the Kennedy's
-Our niece Fabienne turned 2

November
-Grandpa & Grandma join Jesus in heaven two weeks apart
-Lyndsay and Craig run the SB Half Marathon
-Thanksgiving weekend mini road trip up the coast

December
-Andy gets promoted to Coordinator of Support and Outreach Services at his work
-Andy puts more than 1700 miles on his bike this year (which was a year without any major bike trips...those are his work commute miles plus some joy rides on weekends)!
