a wedding to remember

Two weekends ago, Andy and I had the pleasure of being in a wedding party together for the 3rd time (ours, my Roomie's, and this one).  This wedding was special because my "little brother" (as I have affectionately referred to Andy's brother Chris) got married to an incredible Christ-loving woman.  The wedding was SOOO much fun!!!
The wedding took place in Western NY at my in-law's beautiful farm, also known as Grimm Farms.
The entire experience was such a blast!  Planning the bachelorette party, setting up, rehearsal, the wedding day prep, the wedding itself, the reception, and clean up....it was all just so fantastic!

One of the things I loved most about the wedding is that (other than the food, the tent rental, and the air conditioned bathroom on wheels) everything was made possible by family and friends and the bride and groom themselves.  It was truly a community coming together to put on and enjoy this incredible day - from the pastor to the photographer to the musicians to the DJ - it was ALL family and friends.

Here's some photo highlights - most of these photos are mine or taken by Kell, but some are appreciatively borrowed from friends, including Beka (the photographer) photos:

Two things that are "so true" about this picture:
1. My husband is such a helper
2. My husband is my #1 fan (he's wearing our res hall t-shirt)
