She was a stray kitty hanging out at one of the residence halls.
The RD took her to the shelter (to make sure she was spayed, up to date on shots, etc.) and then informed us that she would be ready for adoption. We had a week to think about it.
I've been talking about wanting a cat since October. Since you can still be quite independent with cats, we decided to go for it. And, we already knew she was good with students (since many of them were taking her in while she was stray - much to that RDs dismay).
Weighing in at just 7 lbs, this 7 year old calico is now ours & is a perfect miniature size for our small apartment. To our surprise, she LOVES to cuddle!

oh I am SO excited for you guys!! she is goregeous!! and so tiny :) and she loves to cuddle. Came spayed with all her shots...Looks like you guys won the jack-pot:) Congrats on your new addition!!
Coming from someone who owns both cats and dogs, we miss our cat-only days of FREEDOM :)
what a sweet-petite. maybe i'm ready to get a cat again? :) can't wait to meet the little sausage-ball in person!
