- Sacraments within the church that serve as symbols and reminders and professions of the true purpose of life (baptism, the eucharist, liturgy, etc.)
- Wonderful smells (pine, the saltiness of the ocean, the crispness of fall, baked goods, coffee)
- The capacity to love and be loved
- Great books
- Our ability to create (sew, craft, color, paint, build, etc.)
- God's provisions in big and small ways, both obvious and hidden
- Opportunities to serve others - even when it's not "convenient"
- The beauty of all creation (stars, oceans, mountains, lakes, sunrises, sunsets, plants, animals, etc.)
- Emotions: they propel us to express and to reflect/process
- Music - the opportunity to listen and to play
- The many people and life experiences that have shaped me into who I am today
- Our Heavenly Father who continues to write an incredible love story that includes all of us

Happy Thanksgiving!!!
Since this is my 27th Thanksgiving (out of the womb - obviously for my Thanksgiving in the womb I am thankful for my mom), here are 27 things that I am thankful for (in no particular order):
