- total gas fill-ups = 25 exactly
- smiles per day = endless (there were occasional times with low morale, but we bounced back)
- number of nights in a tent = 19
- (number of FREE nights camping = 14)
- number of nights in a motel = 5
- number of nights with family/friends = 9 (Special thanks to Lara & Jim, Matt & Sarah, and Domps & Patrick for hosting us!)
- total number of overnight stops we paid for = 10
- number of Auto Zone stops = 3 (check engine light check, new wipers, one headlight)
- number of car mechanic stops = 3 (Cleveland=distributor, Lexington = Oxygen sensor, Amarillo, TX = spark plug)
- longest stretch without a shower = 8 days (yuck - I pray never again. at least when you are together, you both are gross together)
- unique wildlife we saw: armadillo, black bear, grizzly bear, elk, moose, pronghorn, antelope, comerant, pelican, sea otter, elephant seal, gray whale, buffalo/bison, kangaroo rat, yellow bellied marmot, osprey, grouse
- deepest snow we saw = 15-20 feet high (crater lake national park, UT)
- Lynz's favorite "excursion" = 7 brides for 7 brothers musical live in wyoming
- Andy's favority "excursion" = rodeo on the fourth of july in wyoming
