Andy and I took a road trip to Lexington, KY to visit his brother & sister-in-law a few weekends ago. It was not only great to venture off campus for the weekend but we also got to be their first guests in their brand new house and spend time with them. Here's what we did:

Adored their house
Ate at some local restaurants
and out on their patio
drove around to visit important landmarks like the UK stadium :-)
enjoyed the neighbors cat whom we affectionately called Smokey
hand delivered Matt's birthday present (a bird feeder)
let the guys enjoy brotherly love
hiked at a park
saw some pretty crazy things (a preying mantis and a danger sign for some crazy ant)
and some ducks chilling at a gas station
We also went garage sailing and visited insanely huge homes on the "grand tour of homes." Thanks Matt & Sarah for hosting us! It was so great to see you and to see your new place.
