Fabienne Update:

The surgery went well, the doctors say! Fabienne has been sedated since the surgery and they plan to begin bringing her out of that this weekend. The prayer is that she doesn't expend too much energy, get upset, move around too much, etc., or they will sedate her again. She is not yet breathing on her own, but if she is able to remain stable without sedation they will begin working on her breathing. Once she is breathing on her own, she will be moved to her own hospital room where my sister and her husband can stay overnight with her. Until then they are at the Ronald McDonald Home.
