On a warm Saturday in March

This past Saturday was a warm one - 71 degrees...in March - March 7th to be exact!  So, what is one to do on a beautiful sunny spring day?  Get a spring trim :)

-The New Look-

Since it was so warm, Andy and I decided to walk to downtown Beaver Falls and explore the area with our cameras:

Someone had this sign in their yard.  It read: "The people we love the least may need our love the most" - I thought it was cool/odd since it's usually something you see in front of a church.

This apparently is the marching band trailer.  The high school is the Beaver Falls Tigers.  Notice  the "eye of the tiger" on the back and then the nice portrait on the side.  There is some SERIOUS team spirit around here!

For some reason, this area is prone to some pretty nasty fires.  There was one recently that hit hard several buildings downtown.  The aftermath is still there...

This cracks me up...apparently you are not allowed to bike on the sidewalks downtown.  It is also is a Pennsylvania - ism to add "riding" to the end of a word you could just add "ing" to.  For instance, they say sled riding - why not sledding?  They also bike riding instead of biking.  

And lastly, we ended our day with a cook-out, yes outside with no coats on - crazy!  Andy and I had walked to a cute Fruit & Garden Center at the other end of town to pick up some goodies for the meal.  We look forward to being able to spend more time with the Jensens this summer too!  This will pretty much be every evening from mid May to August :)
