It's a Girl....Our Newest Family Member

Allow me to introduce to you an absolutely wonderful kitty named Rilee who now belongs to my husband and I. She is very adorable.

My favorite things about Rilee:
1. She is extremely cute
2. She loves people...thus making her a wonderful companion
3.
She is litter box trained
4. She knows her name and responds to it!
5. She has acclimated wonderfully to our little cabin in the woods

Rilee's querks (don't worry...our love for her does not change):
1. She is welcome to sleep on our bed or our couch or our chair--pretty much on any of those comfortable surface...however, she chooses to sleep on the floor under our bed.
2. She has a meowing issue in the middle of the night and while using the litter box (this may result in a vet visit tomorrow)
3. She loves water! Absolutely loves it!
4. Dumping things (like Andy's razor)in her litter box

Facts about Rilee:
1. She is blonde, not orange
2. She is believed to be about 5 years old

3. Her previous owners loved her dearly but will be traveling often so thought it best to have us adopt her. She is going through a bit of "culture shock" as she is adjusting from their rules to ours.
4. She loves water!!! She practically jumps in the shower (or toilet) with you
5. She has a "larangetic" meow, but is still cute as ever
6. She has done well in showing us a glimpse of parenthood
-Andy and I have been woken up at least 3 times per night since we got her.
-We've been calling each other at work to discuss her bladder issues and going to the vet.

-I had to tell my boss that I'd be late to work tomorrow (now today) because I had to take Rilee to the vet. Result of the visit: an issue that cannot be resolved with antibiotics...she now has pain medication. And hopefully we have a better night of sleep ahead of us!

wahoo - another post! i had almost given up hope.
i can't believe the first time i get to see my grimm niece (haa) it's on the computer! she's such a big girl!
gross - did andy use that razor again after it was in the litter box?!
and what is with you & the michau's having cats that drink out of the toilet??! i'm a little worried about what habits your real chillins will have (if anyone ever decides to have any!).
it does sound like you are getting a taste for parenthood. i think you're ready for a lincoln sleepover now!
